I am an Assistant Professor of economics at University Canada West, Vancouver, Canada. Prior to my appointment at UCW, I undertook a postdoc position at UBC Sauder. I received my PhD in economics from the University of Calgary, Master of Science in economics from Institute for Management and Planning Studies, and a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology.
My research expertise encompasses international trade, energy and environmental economics, and productivity growth. I place a strong emphasis on utilizing data and empirical evidence to shape policy recommendations. My research findings have been published in prestigious journals and presented at major conferences.
